In Concert for Cancer 2023 – Year in Review

SPREADING JOY – RAISING AWARENESS – SUPPORTING PATIENTS – ACCELERATING CURES

• Since 2011, In Concert for Cancer has donated more than $245,000 in support of cancer organizations committed to supporting patients, their families, cancer discoveries and cures.
• We have presented concert events and digital music initiatives to thousands of people, uniting and inspiring cancer fighters, survivors, caregivers, and communities.
• Our programs deliver the uplifting power of music as a unique way to raise awareness and funds for cancer patient support services, groundbreaking treatment, and cancer vaccine research and development.
• Past and present beneficiaries include Seattle Children’s Hospital, Cancer Vaccine Institute at UW Medicine, The City of Hope, Scripps Cancer Center, and Children’s Cancer Association.

TOUCHING HEARTS – OFFERING HOPE – FUELING PROGRESS

In ways big and small, we are honored to be able to make a difference, supporting the heroes that work tirelessly to beat cancer, bringing hope and healing to those fighting the disease.

Whether raising awareness and funds for patient support services, life extending cancer vaccines, funding research, or simply lifting spirts, we are honored to do our part in the fight.

“THE SUITE LIFE” – LIONEL RICHIE + EARTH, WIND & FIRE

• Our “Suite Life” music program is now in its 3rd year. This small group music program provides a private, VIP luxury concert experience for music-loving donors that want to support the cause.
• This concert event welcomed 16 patrons, two of which are new supporters that flew in from Canada.
• We raised $4,000 which was donated equally between our beneficiaries Seattle Children’s Hospital and the Cancer Vaccine Institute at UW Medicine.

VIP WINE & MUSIC EVENT – OCTOBER 1 – FOUR SEASONS HOTEL SEATTLE

• We moved our VIP event to the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, welcoming 60 supporters.
• Our entire musical lineup was in attendance for patron meet and greet opportunities.
• This event has proven to be a popular “add on” to our main concert ticket, helping to boost ticket sales revenues.

12th ANNUAL BENEFIT SHOW! 10/2 – SEATTLE’S JAZZ ALLEY

• We returned to Seattle’s Jazz Alley, with a sell out crowd!
• Our All-Star lineup featured Mindi Abair, Kenny Lattimore, Judith Hill, Danny Seraphine and an incredible band.
• Concert festivities included an online and live auction which helped us more than double last years net proceeds.
• $75,000 was donated equally between Seattle Children’s Hospital and the Cancer Vaccine Institute at UW Medicine.
